 Iris is a full cranial Prosthesis with a natural scalp like appearance on the top and totally pre-cut into a timeless shoulder length "page boy".

Base Design: Top is a double layer very fine M-mesh material (approx. 5"x5-3/4") with a stitched on tape tab setting back 3/8" from the front edge (approx 1"x2-1/4" wide.) Rest of the cap is Small Hole stretch material with 3 horizontal Nylon ribbon support/cutaway areas, with 2 diagonal ribbons that run to the ear area. The temple and sideburn area are lined with velvet tape tab material that have a V-shaped wire stay at the bottom of the sideburn area and a single wire stay above it. The back has adjustable elastic sheathed in small hole stretch material, connecting to the nape are, velvet lined area 5" wide x 1" high. Directly above this velvet are is a stitched on PU tape tab. The nape area has light wefting 3" form the bottom up approx 4-1/2" wide, to allow hair to lie close to the head.

Measuring for a Custom Made Wig.
 

 

Starting at the front hairline hold the beginning of a cloth tape measure in place. Wrap tape around the head in the same position as our diagram; pull snug. Note: Be sure the tape seats below the occipital bone (the round of the head in back) by 1/2" to 1". The tape should be sitting right at the fold of the neck and head area, approximately above the hairline.
